Pastor Shawn and Pastor Sunny have been faithfully leading in ministry since 2002, with a shared passion for seeing lives transformed through the love of Christ.

Over the past two decades, they have served across diverse communities in Koreatown (Los Angeles, CA), Hawaii, and Washington State—investing deeply in children’s, youth, young adult, and family ministries. One of their greatest passions has always been for families: helping bridge the spiritual and cultural gaps between generations, especially within the Korean-American context.

As they step forward to plant Pistos Community Church, their vision is to create a multigenerational, Christ-centered community where parents and children grow together in faith, and where open communication and intentional discipleship flourish within the family unit. Their prayer is to raise up a new generation that knows the Word, walks in obedience, and lives out their calling—starting in the home and reaching to the nations.
